Still very finicky but in my case it works great. Other Thoughts: I would absolutely recommend this product to another consumer, except the z390 chipset is out now and does support the 8th gen Intel chips so this board is theoretically outdated now. Power readings are recorded with a watt-meter.

When compared to other versions of the Strix line strix z370 e motherboards, this Strix Z370-E motherboard is outfitted with 802. Additionally, your system can access the Internet reliably by using the motherboard's Gigabit Ethernet port. It provides improved performance by utilizing serial point-to-point links, allowing increased bandwidth and stability. Intel Z370 also supports integrated-graphics. Moreover, an audio cover and line shielding help preserve the audio signal. This is a great premium motherboard for a great price. Reading reviews for this motherboard online will show you have many people have issues with this and other Z370 motherboards. If you have a working unit then its great but a huge headache if it does not work. Also be sure to flash to the latest bios. The motherboard would randomly post to Bios, but would not load windows, but after about 5 attempts it stopped being able to post to bios or do anything other then show a white led on the motherboard. I replaced the motherboard and memory but the 2nd motherboard experienced the exact same problem and then it too stopped working with just a white led lighting up on the motherboard. This motherboard has a total of 4 memory slots, a1a2 and b1b2. I bought 2 of 8gb memory cards for double channel. Asus recommends to use a1b1 or a2 b2 for double channel. I ended up b1b2, single channel. Told me to send back to get a replacement. But i was lazy to wait another week. I dont notice any difference on single channel.
